Description
Tours are made by Forbes-listed tour guide and actress Valery Danko or/and Australian Open champion and top London photographer & guide Leo Stakhovsky who are both huge Beatles fans.
Go back in time and imagine yourself in the heart of swinging Sixties when The Beatles released their first UK single, “Love Me Do”, which peaked Number 17 in charts, followed by 1963 “Please Please Me”, which reached Number 1.
Your Guide will show you where the Beatlemania has started as you will walk through the scenes of a wild frenzy which took place wherever the band appeared.
Meet your Guide in front of the St Johns Wood to explore the Abbey Road! Take the oldest tube in the world to follow the place where John Lennon lived in 1968. Explore the beautiful and quiet neighbourhood of Marylebone, full of houses which once were former horse stables.
Your Guide will tell how The Beatles brought new teenage fashions: the round-necked Beatles jacket and the ‘mop top’ Beatle haircut. Pass through the original ‘Apple store’, Beatles souvenir shop and discover why the mural with words ‘Hey Jude’ had to be whitewashed. Follow your Guide to the nice and tranquil Green Square, when you can relax from London’s energetic atmosphere and enjoy a petite rose garden. Continue your way along the park before you arrive to the place where Paul McCartney lived and created his most popular song. Afterwards you walk to ‘The Palladium’, the birthplace of Beatlemania. Imagine yourself in the roaring crowd and think about your favourite songs before you go the site of their last rooftop concert.
Finish your tour at speak-easy 60s bar with a glass of Moet or a fizzy cocktail!
