English bird legends retain their power over the imagination, culture, custom and song.

Many familiar expressions associated with birds enrich today’s English. The sparrow usually had a modest role gobbling the seed that fell by the wayside. Cockney sparrow frequently indicated a cheerful, unassuming acceptance of humble status while the goshawk's species name “gentilis” means noble.

From Robins to peacocks, from blackbirds to herons, London is a place that attracts birds. Did you know that 48 % of London is green space? No wonder it’s a bird capital.

Meet your guide in front of the Waitrose and start your journey towards meeting the most wonderful London birds.

For this walk, we prepared a tranquil London park. When you step into the park, it feels deliciously hidden away from the human eyes.

The park is a rich habitat of various birds species including migratory birds who choose to stop at Holland Park. Various ponds attract Grey Herons and Mallards while robins and blackbirds prefer to hide in the woods because they are an easy spot for the sparrowhawk who is circling to catch them. Hear stories on how different species were introduced to London, how some birds were exclusive presents.

We invite you on this beautiful soul-healing walk, that will give pleasure to your eyes and make your heart sing with the delight of the true Universe beauty!
